I’ve put together a Photoshoot Bucket List — a collection of creative, fun, and unique session ideas I’ve been dreaming of photographing with families. See below!

PHOTOSHOOT BUCKET LIST

  • Painting Session : Outdoor, golden hour lit, white sheet hung up - ideal for families with smaller kids - family planing with paint brushes, colorful paint, painting canvas’ as well as each other - hose involved for cleaning

  • Pool / Sprinkler Session : ideal for families with a pool in their backyard and an area for sprinkler. Whole family would be playing in the pool and running through the sprinkler.

  • Vintage Automobile : ideal for families with an older model / vintage car - think dirt road, golden hour sun, photos inside and outside of the car

  • Baseball Field : ideal for families with boys who love baseball, have jerseys - golden hour, playing on the field

  • Parking Garage : top level of parking garage at golden hour - concrete is the BEST reflector

  • Hot Air Balloon (or Airplane) Session : I know this is a stretch, but I’ve seen hot air balloons around Woodstock and I know they exist! I would LOVE to shoot a family sunrise or sunset as the hot air balloon is being blown up, shooting with it on the ground. Or on a private airstrip with airplanes behind us.
